Katie Elle Jackson (formerly Reeve) is a singer, songwriter, actress and teacher with a vocal and performance versatility enabling her to work across a multitude of genres. She has performed around the world as a corporate, club, wedding and session vocalist, as a cabaret and musical theatre performer, as a singer-songwriter and has been teaching voice and performance for over a decade.
Katie is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) (Music Theatre) and has a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Voice and Post Graduate Cert. of Music from The Australian Institute of Music (AIM) where she is currently studying a Masters of Music. In 2013, Katie was featured on The Voice Australia as part of Ricky Martin's team, receiving praise for her powerful voice and charismatic stage presence. She recently headlined the 2018 New Years Eve celebrations in Dubai at Festival City, in front of over 50,000 people.
In 2015, Katie received critical-praise for her role as The Music Hall Singer in the Sydney Theatre Award winning production of the Australian premiere of the Broadway Musical, Violet (Blue Saint Productions/Hayes Theatre- Director- Mitchell Butel). She continued her role with the company for their Melbourne season, playing Chapel off Chapel in March 2016. Katie starred in Exclaim Theatre Company’s (Director- Brendan Hay) 2015 production of Hair (Ronny) and in the award winning Little Egypt’s Speakeasy (Shirley Slam) as part of both the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Sydney Fringe Festival, receiving rave-reviews for her work. She has also performed at a number of festivals and events with the award-winning children’s musical The Vegetable Plot and for Wanted and Wild- a burlesque/rock cabaret.

Katie's recent theatre experience includes Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors (MCMT), Cathy in The Last 5 Years (EiTR) and The Bakers Wife in Into the Woods (EiTR/Illuminate Festival). In 2019, she competed in the National A Cappella Championships, AUSACA, with vocal band The Tabor Tones, winning several awards including Best Soloist, Best Original Song Composition and Video Performance, and Second Place in the Vocal Band finals. As a creative, she was the vocal director for Pulteney Grammar School's Jesus Christ Superstar, Costume Co-ordinator for Annie and Jesus Christ Superstar and is set to direct We Will Rock You in November 2024 for Tabor Institute of Music. Katie has also produced several charity and community events and entertainment lineups including KEJ Voice Studio Annual Concert(s); Positive; Neighbourhood Watch; Celebration of the Senses- Community Outreach Evening; Buderim Christmas Carols; The Lions Christmas Carols; The Tsunami Appeal Concert; Youth Music Evening for the Oaktree Foundation.
Katie has worked as a singer for Royal Caribbean Cruises, for Woolworths’ Carols in the Domain, regularly performs at the some of the countries top venues and charity-events and was very active in Sydney’s live music scene. She has entertained guests at countless wedding’s and corporate events with bands The Katie Elle Jackson Band, Soirée , Peppermint Jam, Boogie Fever, Sydney Jazz Collective, Duke, Valley Beat Music Co, Solar Music, Suit and Tie and Kitty and the Tom Cats. Since relocating to Adelaide, Katie continues to be regarded as a sought after vocalist and MC, performing regular weddings and events across the state with her band Manor Road Music.

Katie is also a gifted script and songwriter, with a number of her theatrical and musical works performed by youth and community-theatre groups. She premiered her new one woman show, Neighbourhood Watch, in 2017, featuring a score of original music from her EP Songs from Apartment 54, with a critically acclaimed return season in January 2018. Her new show, Positive, received glowing reviews for performance and songwriting, at the 2022 Adelaide Fringe Festival. She is a passionate educator, operating KEJ Voice Studio, and has taught at a number of the countries top training institutions including the Australian Institute of Music, NIDA and Tabor Institute of Music. Katie currently teaches voice, drama and musical theatre at Pulteney Grammar School, Tabor and St Peters Woodlands, Glenelg.
